Nancy Fran Peña Casados brings decades of experience in telecommunications, business development, corporate strategy, and marketing to the Genealogy Society of Hispanic America. She is widely recognized for her leadership in Colorado’s telecommunications and data center industry, including her role in transforming Denver’s 910Telecom facility into one of the Rocky Mountain region’s major interconnection hubs. Nancy later co-founded 2210 Cortez, a neutral data center and consulting company in Southwest Colorado focused on expanding connectivity for rural communities, municipalities, and broadband initiatives.

Alongside her professional career, Nancy has maintained a lifelong dedication to genealogy, family history, and cultural preservation. Following the passing of her mother in 1996, she began researching the Peña–Sánchez family roots using the extensive family records her mother preserved. Her sister, Rosalie Inez Peña McCoy, later continued and expanded those efforts, helping deepen the family’s genealogical work. Nancy has also researched her husband’s family lines, including the Casados, Gallegos, and Montoya families.

Through both her professional and personal work, Nancy remains committed to preserving Hispanic heritage, strengthening family connections, and supporting future generations in understanding their ancestral roots.
